This thread just pisses me off...because Kareem wasn't given or hasn't been given quarter for his scoring title.

But now this is some fricking big deal because LeBron is now Top 5?

What is it? For GOAT? What's the shifting criteria that seems to change every year in LeBron's benefit?

Is it championships? LeBron doesn't have an argument.

Is it dominance? What kind of dominance? What's the criteria?

Scoring plus titles? How does LeBron have an argument over MJ and Kareem?

Or is it just...LeBron is playing now and our memories have a gnat's sized brain?

What category does LeBron win over anyone in the Top 5? What? Moving cities all the time?

Yep, he's GOAT. Apart from he looks awesome...not many great arguments have ever been made on here regarding his measurements to the greats.

If it's titles you have Russell and Magic, if it's scoring you have Kareem, if it's impact on the game you have Jordan, scoring plus titles.

LeBron doesn't fall into any category which places him at the top.

Or is this just the modern...eye test? Never saw the past, but I got the eye now.

To OP's credit, given LeBron's lack of titles compared to the greats...his best argument being so young coming into the league is scoring...not the titles.

So this will be something posterity will hang its hat on for LeBron...so it helps he didn't waste years in college like many of his supremely talented collegues had to. I hope he wears this hat well - if he gets to #3 he can be in the converstation with Karl Malone as Top scorer...and hang his hat.

It’s amazing how you can accurately find and include relevant facts (in the precious post) then somehow waste them all in such terrible analysis and conclusions that are littered with boom-like fallacies and biases, and without anywhere close to the possibility that you’re trolling a bit like boom.

And the worst part of it, is that your argument doesn’t NEED them. You could say these are the reasons I think Kareem is the greatest, despite Lebron’s greatness and no rational person should find that outrageous.

But nope, you just couldn’t help but waste those facts and let other relevant facts fail to make it to the debate.

Is it? Is it some "fricking big deal" because there's 1 thread on it that went 2 pages?
