The problem is that you are relying on HQ for decent sports discussions. The show is whimsical and amusing. There are many other platforms if you want serious sports talk.

As long as they don’t talk politics the Lebatard show is the best radio show on the ESPN lineup by far

I enjoy the radio show in short exposures, too much and it wears on me.
The issue is they are so committed to satire and parody of a blow hard sports radio show that their premise doesn't really allow them to actually talk about sports or issues seriously without getting on a soapbox to differentiate between "regular jokes show today" vs "listen up everyone this is serious"
So they latch onto something and then run shite into the ground constantly filling up air time.
Stugots is a national treasure, but his character can be so one note they cant help but take his good jokes and grind them into dust. The "Maury" bit was a recent example of this.

That's one of the worst shows on television. I watched it once and haven't thought about it since reading this thread. Awful show.
