A lot of really creepy shite used to happen in the hard site at abu ghraib. Weird noises, shite moving, streaking lights. Lots of weird arse shite.

In 2007, my brothers and I took a trip out to Colorado to pay homage to our dad who passed away in late 2006. We're from LA but have always been fond of Colorado, from vacations as young kids to elk hunting in September every year.

After spending most of our last day in our cabin due to sleet and snow, we decided to head back to LA that evening instead of leaving the following morning like we had planned.

We were somewhere in Western Texas, east of Amarillo around midnight or so. We had been laughing and cutting up, as none of us were tired due to sleeping most of the day on and off while in the cabin. There was nothing at all to see outside. Just the highway, telephone poles, and more stars than we've ever seen before.

We saw something standing on the side of the road that to this day, none of us can explain. It was solid white, human shaped, and probably 6-7 foot tall. The only thing we had to reference was the telephone pole it was standing next to. We slowed the truck down once we saw it. And then suddenly two large wings shot straight out from either side of it. It went completely vertical into the night sky, higher than the telephone pole and out of sight.

Neither of us said a word for hours

When I was 15, my mom made my older sister, my younger brother and myself go stay a week in the summer at my grandmas house in Hampton,Ga. I hated that old house because it always had a bad vibe to it when we visited for a day. It was built around 1840s and had old slave shack foundations still in the ground about 100 yards behind the house. We were supposed to be there for a week to help my step grandfather in the yard.

On the very first night, my brother and I were sleeping on a fold out couch in the old parlor room just inside the entry door. My sister was across the hall in what grandma used as a spare bedroom. The house had no AC and it was super quiet and all I could hear was the tick tick of a clock on the fireplace mantle. I was hyper aware and couldn’t sleep at all in that environment.

Around 1am I hear a voice from across the hall and it was that if my sister. She was telling me to come over there to her room. I was to damn scared to get out of the bed and just said “What do you need?” She said “I hear something in my room.” I sat up and tried to gather my courage up but suddenly the hair on my arms and neck stood up and I just felt something was in the room with me. I looked over at my brother who was asleep and when I did I saw a young man standing behind the couch. He was yelling his arse off like he was having a temper tantrum but I couldnt hear the yells.

I busted out of bed and was Mach II down the hall into my grandmas room in a shear panic. My step grandpa was up limes lightening bolt grabbing a gun with one hand and pulling up his drawers with the other. Grandma asked me “what’s wrong, what is it?” all panicked by my actions and all I could say was “somebody’s in the house, somebody’s in the house!”

My step grandpa looked like Jason Bourne sliding down the hall as I watched from the doorway. He went all through the house and had every light on after 5 minutes. He went outside also. While he was doing that , I told grandma what I had seen and she just tried to comfort me and told me it was just my imagination. She sat with us with the TV on until we fell asleep. My mom was there at 10am the next morning to take us home.

It was years later when my mom told me that my grandma had called her early that morning and told her to come get us. She said that grandma told her that they were pretty sure a spirit was dwelling in that house and that us being there overnight could have triggered an event. She didnt want a repeat episode the next night so it was best if she took us home

Yes. While working the the NICU one night, a group of us were standing near the unit desk talking. I was near a wall with my back facing it, maybe 6 inches away. I suddenly had to move forward a little as if i felt someone pass behind me and others in the group definitely noticed this. Definitely very strange.

I haven’t SEEN anything, but I’ve experienced a couple of things. My grandmother, I believe has special gifts. She is one of those people who can predict the gender of a baby with 100% accuracy. She also knew her son had died in a car wreck long before the S.O. showed up to tell her.

Her house is also haunted, too. She has seen, on multiple occasions, an old lady walking around in her house, coming into her bedroom and just looking at her while laying in her bed. She describes the same lady every time.

I’ve never seen the lady, but I’ve had some first hand supernatural experiences there. I lived with her for 5 months while I finished high school after my parents moved to another town. My grandfather had all of these whiskey decanters, some of them also music boxes, on shelves in their living room. One night I was in the bathroom brushing my teeth and getting ready for bed when I hear “Love Me Tender” playing on one of the Elvis music boxes/decanters in the living room. No big deal. I walk in the living room to turn it off and it was already off. It finished the tune and turned off by itself.

I’ve got 2-3 more stories that I just don’t feel like typing out, but I certainly believe in the supernatural

ETA: I guess I didn’t make it clear, but my grandfather died when I was in 6th grade. The particular event I described happened when I was a senior in high school.

The weird stuff that happened in that house never bothered me. I, honestly, found it comforting. I thought of it as my grandfather just letting us know that he was still hanging around.

I have twins and one night I had one of them and my wife had the other. The twin I had tells me that he can hear his twin. I'm like "ok cool."

I tell my wife about it later that night and she was super freaked out because the twin she had said the same thing.
