What does a discussion on watching sports have to do with how much someone exercises?

But to each his own. Human beings have a wide variety of likes and dislikes. Spice of life.

Yes, all of them.

Soccer is the world's oldest and most popular sport for a reason. The most beautiful game ever made

At what's the deal with golf? Chasing after a ball for a couple of hours just to score a negative number? Like WTF!?!?

Agree. Oh wait, it's just the most popular sport in the world -- by far.

Sorry you like watching guys wearing tight pants rubbing and pushing and tackling each other. Between the two sports, which seems "gay" (to use your word).

I grew up playing soccer (nohomo)

It’s one of those sports that’s way more fun to play than to watch. On the field you’re in constant motion. There’s very little standing around or time outs. And the key is that what the players that did not have the ball are doing is just as important as the one that has it.

For football and basketball that’s true too.

Baseball is less so.

Golf is all about the ball.

And just because it’s not as “fun to watch” doesn’t make it a shitty sport.

I’m 5’ 8” and 165. I was never going to play football or basketball competitively. But I was able to play soccer at a high level from 5th grade all the way through college.

Open your mind a little baw.

You should try pok-ta-pok. Sounds like a game for you.

Only thing I hate about soccer is that it seems that players spend more time practicing how to grab their ankles while rolling around on the ground hoping to draw a yellow card. The constant flopping kills it for me

The game is constantly progressing. Scores change with every stroke taken, penalties assessed, etc...

You can go a whole soccer game and end up exactly where you started. Do teams offer refunds for games that end in 0-0 ties? They should.

It’s only the most popular sport in the world because the entry barrier is one of if not the lowest in the world.

All you need is a ball. Any shithole country can come up with one. Basketball, football, cricket.... they all require additional equipment of some kind

It does.
The differences of opinion in this thread show that there is no such thing as best or worst in the discussion.

Well except WNBA. Everyone knows that.

I agree that playing any sport is more fun than watching it. I disagree with your assertion that soccer is fun to play.

Great excuse to meet at the pubs in the early morning to drink. And there’s a chance you might get laid
