We would be 5-4 at absolute best if O doesn't frick up NSD and fall arse backwards into Meyers leftovers.

He's good, just not a gamechanger.

He has a lower completion percentage, fewer touchdowns, and more interceptions than Etling. He's better at making big plays at the right time which was a big help against Auburn.

Yes, Haskins is just lighting it up. That offense is rolling huh?

This is wrong. Defense won the Georgia game flat out, and he made one good throw against Auburn and Dillion had speed to take it to the house.

If he had all the time and not been pressured, he would not have come close to winning against Bama....dont blame it all on poor line play..

Couldn't have said it better. And people wonder why Urban chose Haskins over him. Hell its obvious

Like I've said many times before. LSU is cursed at the QB position. LSU could have the best 5* QB recruit the nation has seen the past 30 years coming in and he would still look average at best by his junior year at LSU.

He’s only been here for 3 1/2 months and no quarterback can throw with less than three seconds. Bama is not doing nothing special their quarterback just as it enough time to throw

You should make a run at Jalen Hurts for next season.

Kinda hard to manage a game when Bama defensive linemen are coming at you all the time. How many times did they sack Joe? I quit counting at five.

Be real. Joe did about as good as he could under constant pressure.

LSU lost.....Alabama won. Move on! We've got a season to finish. Our boys (and our coaches) need our support right now.

Geaux Tigahs!

Burrow’s throwing ability has not impressed me all season. He is simply not an accurate passer. He had some attributes you like to see in a QB but throwing a football is not one of them.

You guys are as bad as O. Just blame all the players. Nevermind the fact that he came in to LSU without any meaningful college snaps. Whose job is it to improve QB play and make plays that highlight our strengths rather than exploit our weaknesses? Is that Burrow or O and E?

Burrow would be just fine if he had time in the pocket, less drops from receivers and a decent QB coach and OC. Most of you on here now saying he's just OK were sucking his dick in October. If you thought he was going to come to LSU ready to win a championship out of the box you were fooling yourself. Guys like that (little college xp) have to get good coaching from the QB coach and OC, which Burrow is not getting.

Neither of your two paragraphs addresses the fact that he can’t throw a football accurately.

I put the blame on the trenches.. Our O Line NEVER beat their D Line. WIN THIS battle and we could have won the game. That D Line of theirs (even though it was not a premium year for them) had our number all night.

We all know that Joe was an upgrade from what we expected for the year. However, he does not have that lightning release of top QBs. That is why we needed O Line to give him a chance. Those guys in red were on him as soon as the ball snapped. You can't put all that blame on him. Our receivers had not had the time to run routes. Our RBs could not find any holes to run through. I don't think there is a game plan to get better play from the O Line. THAT was our problem all night long.

Burrow is solid. I’ll say that. He’s not easily rattled, and he typically comes up with a timely big play or two during the game. But
No, he’s not great. I said early on that the fans were over- hyping the guy coming in.
He’s more consistent than pQB’s ofthe last few years. And the players really seem to respect him( that’s important).
I wish he could do more, no doubt. but I like the kid and his attitude.

Yall are so funny. He's a decent QB.

He has 6 tds on the year and hasn't thrown one in over a month. I mean if that doesn't scream mediocre then idk what does.

Swap Burrow with Tua and the result of last night game would have been the exact same.

Again, I put most blame on the game plan and offensive line. I never souly put blame on Burrow. With that said, he IS A game manger. He can’t win take over and win games. He isn’t accurate, and doesn’t have pocket awareness, among other things you need from a QB. I don’t think he’s awful, and I’m not going to say he could have done much last night, but I’m not basing this just upon last night. He is not that good of a QB, and if you still can’t realize this after 8 games you are living in fairyland.
