Usually, I think you guys are just paranoid, but then I read this:
Minimum Time For A Play After Spiking The Ball
ARTICLE 5. If the game clock is stopped and will start on the refereeās
signal with three or more seconds remaining in the quarter, the offense may
reasonably expect to throw the ball directly to the ground (Rule 7-3-2-f ) and
have enough time for another play. With two seconds or one second on the
game clock there is enough time for only one play. (A.R. 3-2-5-I)
It's been a rule since 2013; I don't know why it didn't apply in this game, but I'm curious to see how the SEC office spins it...

The 60 year-old's balls hang down lower.
You should make a run at Jalen Hurts for next season.
In my mind, neither one was targeting because there was no intent to target. White was obviously leading with his hands; don't know why it wasn't overturned. I had more of a problem with the groin shot on Tua; don't know why that wasn't called.
re: If LSU plays as good as it did vs UGA, is that enough to beat Bama

Yes. Yes, you definitely can. If LSU plays as good as they did against UGA, and Bama plays as bad as UGA did, you can definitely beat us.
re: Which penalty against LSU decided the game?

I vote for the pass Harris completed to his left guard. If the refs hadn't blown that dead, he would have scored for sure!
Chavis kept Phulmer off the hot seat for years. His "views and play calling" didn't get him fired, Kiffykins wanted to bring Daddy with him. The Chief has brought stability to your defense, so Miles only has to worry about one side of the ball.

It's a rivalry game. It just comes down to who wants it more.
re: Does Texas make a run at Miles?

If Miles didn't leave for Michigan, he won't leave for Texas. Saban's not going anywhere either, although it'd be fun to watch him bounce Applewhite.
We were playing Florida a few years ago when Spurrier was still there. He threw a WR screen left, which we intercepted and ran in for a TD, but it was called back for a penalty. Next play, Spurrier ran the same play for an incompletion. Next play, same damn play again, for a TD this time.
Maybe Les just needed to run it one more time?

re: Saban to Bama best thing that ever happened to LSU football

Hey, just because he's paranoid doesn't mean we're NOT out to get him...
Sounds like something Georgia or Florida would do. Let's keep it like it is. The game just wouldn't be the same if it wasn't home and home.
I was agreeing with you. "Acting like Auburn" is developing an inferiority complex, and letting it dictate the culture of your football team. You guys can challenge any team in the country. Why buy into the hype from the talking heads? Their bullshite isn't about the game anyway, it's all about starting some shite so they can write another story. Ignore that crap and just play your game.

Fans need to stop beign pussies and scared of Saban.
Seriously. If you guys want this to be a GOOD rivalry, you gotta stop acting like Auburn.
Nice to see that you guys fight over the "true fan" BS, too.
"See 2006 ... Arky lost, Florida was NCG and LSU went to the Sugar"
That's because after losing, Arky was 12th and LSU was 4th, so the Sugar Bowl picked LSU.

Pollspeak.com is sponsoring a petition to be sent to USA Today, the Harris Poll, and the BCS. The purpose is to get the BCS to only use polls that make public the ballots of all their voters. All of you who wonder why ND got three votes in the latest Coaches Poll may want to sign up.
