Yesterday, this poll was 199 R and 31 toss-ups. I'm holding out hope - and praying.

I wonder if this melt would be bigger than 2016 if the R's keep the house and senate

GOP will most likely lose the house. The odds and history are not on their side.

Still a net win of less than 20 seats for the democrats is a huge win for the GOP, IMO

If we can keep the house, that'll will be the worst nightmare for Mueller and Rosenstein, especially him as he's trying to run out the clock in hopes of a democrat takeover so the GOP house can stop harassing him and he doesn't have to testify anymore.

Democrats would shut the FISA abuse investigations down the moment they get a gavel and instead go all in on muh russia and muh tax returns.

If they have a net win of less than 20 the GOP keeps the House.

So basically, Republicans need to retain 17 of 27 currently held districts.

It will be 3 or less either way. I think GOP retains the House by the narrowest of margins. I am stoked about the absolute meltdown we will witness next week when the GOP retains the House and nets 4-5 Senate seats.

Should have learned by now that “history” should be thrown out the window

Wrong. Dispirited and demoralized Conservatives basically fled the board en masse for a couple of weeks. That's not a melt. That's restraint.

This has been an unrelenting two year long hysterical mass psychosis unique in the history of our country. Of course you know this.

I'd put money on it. Come to think about it, I'm not real sure the yelling and tears can get to a level that it has been for the last two years but I have the utmost confidence that the melters will find a way.

I'd prefer to see the Rs keep the House but I'm not sure election outcomes are a worthy object of prayer.

My pastor always use to pray for our country and our leaders during the pastoral prayer regardless of who they were. I found it quite appropriate.

What? You think obama winning his second term was the biggest melt on here? Do you make this shut up for attention? To troll?

Will be hard to know since the 2016 melt is still ongoing.
