The hardcore Trump haters will never approve of ANYTHING with Trump after the statement

"Do you approve of Trump's handling of XYZ?"

There's a built in group of like 35% of the population who are going to answer NO, no matter what XYZ is or what the reality of the world is.

You're not being a devil's advocate, you actually see the problem.

These fools just gave away a trillion dollars to billionaires and the rest of us will pay for that for generations.

And now they suddenly get concerned about the deficit, so they want to cut Social Security and Medicare.

They are disgusting hacks for the billionaires and it boggles my mind how any non-billionaire could possibly think what they are doing is a good thing. They literally are taking from the middle class and the poor and giving it to the rich.

You define TARP as a "bailout"?

I go by Occams razor. If you ask that question, how many people actually speak english, how many actually know the definition of "economy", how many have any idea what impact a president's policies have on it, and how many people just hate Trump?

Im surprised its even 49%.

Even with overwhelming evidence, some people will disagree. When FDR asked congress to vote on war, days after Pearl Harbor....one senator voted against it....

I live in Nashville and the economy recovered here 5 years ago. I got $7500 cost of living raise in 2016 on top of a yearly 5% performance raise.

bullshite. You can get a studio in Lenox Village for a little over 1k/mo. Bellevue is 15 minutes from heart of Nashville and you can get a studio cheaper than that. Using the 30% rule, if you aren’t making 36k/yr working in Nashville, you need to reconsider your life.

People who truly believe it's 100% Obama's.

Same here but I think in 2016 when I gave them my opinion instead of just a yes or no answer, my name might have been scrubbed from their books.

I've received none this cycle.

This is because most people are stupid when it comes to money. You could give person (1) 500K he will invest it..stocks,bonds, real estate, CDs. You give another guy, person (2), 500k and he would have all the money spent in 6 months with nothing to show for it(except for 3 or 4 cars, a big screen, etc).

Personally I know a lot more people like person (2).

This issue has less to do with government picking winners and losers and more to do with people taking personal responsibility over their finances.

So the thought that "economic growth hasn't spread out evenly at all" is a crock. Some will use economic growth to enhance their fortune others will just spend. That is the way it is.

Inflation is a problem but certainly not one caused by Trump. The money supply quadrupled during the Obama administration

I’ll gladly take the gains from the 51% so I can enjoy myself and they can legitimately sulk.

There are only about 500 "billionaires" in the United States. They, on average, probably pay 25% to 35% of their earned income in federal taxes. Some of these billionaires live off investment income, so they are hit with a 20% tax on that.

On the other hand, you have 49%-50% of this country net net paying zero, zilch, nada in federal income taxes.

So who really is getting the benefit from federal tax policy? I would say the 50% who pay nothing.

Everybody who thinks "wealth gap" is an actual problem can go pound sand.

Wealth gap in America is a good thing. It means you have the potential to make more if you are able or willing to do something people want to pay for. So what if the billionaires get richer? Did they take it out of your pocket? Or is the fact that you don't have the skills or the work ethic to make more of yourself the reason why you don't do better for yourself.

Or it could be that we have a ton of people who think it's ok to covet what other people have.

Either way, in America there is one person responsible for your failure or success and that is YOU.

Trump could dump $100k in everybody's front yard and you'd get the same results. They're still pissed-off he won. That's it - plain and simple.
