It had been 31 years since LSU beat Alabama in Tiger stadium.
There was a fumble clearly recovered by LSU. The ref ruled Alabama’s ball.
Brady James made the ref watch the replay on the jumbo screen and they overturned the call. If not for the big screen we probably lose to them again.
If anybody kind find the video of that play please post.
I can’t find anywhere.

I was there, LSU greased the goal posts so they wouldn't be torn down.

I love that LSU still has this wallpaper available.

And yet Saban was on the wrong end of it...

What is your point? It was never about Saban. It's always been about Alabama and their influence over the SEC headquarters.

Bradie James was awesome.

Also, the video board operator got the game ball because he kept showing it over and over and over again.

if they hadn't changed it and the Gumps had won, wow. That would have been ugly after the game.

No real point, I just think it's an interesting sidenote. However, there are plenty of people on here who advance the pro-Bama conspiracy to being one that is basically because of Saban.

Yes. Top 3 all time Tiger for me. Similar situation to Dillon in that I believe BOTH of his parents died while he was in school.

Yep. The rule was the officials were not allowed to view replays on that screen. Saban clearly got the guy to look. If the play had stood as originally signaled, I honestly believe Saban would have blown something and bled out internally and died right there on the field.

The streak snapping game.

Bama has lost 4 games in Tiger Stadium (Bryant-Denny West) since 1970.

2000- a 3-8 Bama team
2004- a 6-6 Bama team
2006- a 6-7 Bama team
2010- a 10-3 Bama team

Saban owns half of those home wins over Bama.

The only team with a winning record that LSU beat at home was Saban's worst Bama team since his first year.

The point being, good Bama teams do not lose in Tiger Stadium (Bryant-Denny West)

In a twist of irony, that official is the same one who was the replay official who upheld the targeting.

The SEC office is Bryan-Denny East? The REC loves their little Greenbow minions.
