Okay? What about next week and the week after? The next two weeks in the southeast are supposed to cool off dramatically. By the end of the week, the lows in BR are set to be in the low to mid 50's. That is right within and somewhat below the average. Sunday is forecasting a low of 49 btw
Yes, we're forecasted to have a cold winter, but I want a real cold front now. September was a joke. Now half of October has been a waste.

Yeah, next week, Accuweather has us with lows in the 40's by Wednesday, but that's after this front that's in Texas right now barely clips us and it warms back up to near 90 by the end of this week. The next front MIGHT be the one that really cools BR off.

More like a blocking high meets a front..

You wanted what a city that general has a colder average is getting? So basically you're upset that weather trends are holding true?

Shreveport is normally a few degrees cooler, not 24.....

a. Shreveport is getting a cold front
b. Baton Rouge is NOT
c. If we got the cold front that Shreveport is getting then we'd have a high in the upper 50s. Not upper 70s. See Houston tomorrow.

Why live in a warm climate if you like colder weather?
Plenty of affordable housing in the Midwest, it's not exactly a desirable place to live.

Right. But you aren’t. For the reason posted above.

The trends really aren't that far off. A little cooler a couple days, especially the next two, but generally lows are forecast for the low 50's. Yes, the high's have been lower and they got the cold front sooner, but it is moving eastward.

That's absurd. Seasonal depression is much higher in colder climates. Educate yourself.

Give it time. We'll get a cooler punch Wednesday, at least to get some humidity lower. It's coming though. We often have fronts wash out around here in the transition. It got to Texas solid this go round. There's just a lot of heat to eat up in the SE.
Plus GFS has been trending to have the entire Eastern US well below normal from the end of next week through Halloween practically.
Hell, this afternoon LIX discussion is talking 40s by early next week.
