2007 had NECK, Titles and Top 5 classes with no profanity(proof). 2011 since is trashy

You will get a lot of downvotes, but I agree. The stadium gets fired up and so do the players.
Seeing the video of Alabama play Dixie Land delight and the students do it the right way had the whole team and fans fired up.
It would be great if we could play it more than once a year

I like it better now. I have a 5yo and have no problems with him hearing it. I hope when he grows up he gets to experience shouting profanities in the student section.

We chanted “You suck cock” during the South Carolina game during the Oh Wee Oh chant
When they took OhWeeOh away the student section responded with STTDB.

SO this is very much revisionist history.
The profanity didn't start with Neck. It started with the Oh Wee Oh chant after a score. This was happening in 2007. They stopped that and then STTDB started with Neck. And then they stopped that so now people just chant STTDB whenever they want.
I personally think Neck is better with the chant.
If your history was right you might have a point but it isn't and you don't.

The fight that students have put up with Neck is actually pretty impressive. It's been basically 6 years since they stopped playing it regularly and people still keep up the fight.

You have selective memory. Student section has had profanity laced cheers for years, and before 2007. Specifically, in 2007, there was a loud and clear "F YOU TEBOW" chant going on. The band quit playing "Tiger Rag" in pregame because students would chant "Hahahahahahaha...Assholes! Assholes!"

The official Gameday shirt said “BEAT THE COCKS” in gigantic letters on the back. Students didn’t make that shirt, LSU did. Then the Oweo chant people started saying “you suck cocks” to Carolina as a tongue in cheek dig at their mascot. They kept it up after and LSU outlawed that. It eventually spread to other chants including Neck.
