Watching dolphins/bears OT after the redskins/panthers game ends and they showed the dolphins entire drive and fumble at the goal line and then the bears miss a fg. now 2 min left, they cut away. Fox says "due to nfl rules" we have to show you highlights from around the league. wtf is that Roger? what possibly could be the reason for that assfrick rule?

Funny because they showed the whole ot of another game and caused everyone to miss over a quarter of the saints game.

Hey there's another reason why the NFL is lame af and should only be enjoyed like wrestling is enjoyed.

The NFL has an archaic TV package. They haven't caught on to the idea that teams have fans all across the country now

Yep. Absolutely nothing like the league forcing fans to miss the conclusion of a nail biter. Stupid fricking run league. I swear they are begging fans to disappear.

NFL has the most mind boggling tv schedule. I can watch up to 10 college football games at a time but often stuck with 1 NFL game at a time.

I’d guess CBS has exclusive NFL rights to show games after a certain time. Makes it easier to sell commercials at a higher price.

The 3:30 NFL National Broadcast game is the reason. The NFL has it written in the TV contracts that once that game starts all other non local market games must be taken off the air. Doesn't matter if it's Fox or CBS

At least they didn't cut-away to Heidi.

When they showed highlights, did they show the highlights of the Dolphins win?

That's been around for a while. If they cut away to a different game when the one you were watching is done, they can only show a certain amount of time.

Not saying it's a good rule, but it's nothing new.

I feel like the NFL is the most poorly run out of the major sports leagues in the US. Football is just so popular in the US that it is inherently successful

Such retarded bullshite. I've said that a lot of the reasons for people to waver on the NFL have nothing to do with the SJW stuff. Referee problems and the questions of is it a catch or what are why.

Flame away at me.

(BTW: NFL/MLB need to drop the blackouts as well)

NFL tv rules drive me up the wall. This is one reason I prefer college football Saturday, I am forced to watch only three games. It is maddening when I can’t watch two good teams play and have to watch some crap AFC

I agree their rules are archaic, but if you like the NFL and dont at least have Red Zone that's pretty much on you.
