Does his knowledge of football emasculate you?

I have always really liked him.

However, yesterday he was really over the top negative towards LSU. I think he did not like being proven wrong about his strong prediction.

I’m fine with my masculinity by the way.

He missed quite a lot yesterday although I don’t buy in to a conscious bias. My personal favorite was when he insisted Avery Atkins’ lower body was out of bounds when he recovered the fumbled KO. The player he was talking about was very clearly Trey Gallman.

He talked about the great block by 73, while circling 57 who was actually in, was a bit ornery and condescending at times, missed more calls than I can ever remember, talked about getting to the 30 for a 1st, when it was clearly the 35, had trouble counting...
Just a really rough day for him, and I usually kinda like him. He may be having some vision issues is all I can figure?

He's done three games this season and still hasn't said "Ensminger" correctly.

He's seems to have Tua Tagovailoa down perfectly though.....

If he never called another LSU game, It would be great. He needs to go away with Verne

Sounded like he wanted LSU to lose, that's why.

I'll give my most hated example from the UGA game:

When Fulton intercepted the ball, he was actively rooting for the ball to have hit the ground. It took him 7 views of the same same angle to finally concede that the ball was inches off the ground and an interception by Fulton.

Just appreciate the phenomenal interception and stop rooting for it to have hit the ground, Gary

ETA: Going to leave up as a sign of delusion while watching the LSU Game. Definitely thought this happened, and have talked with others about it. Went back and watched (after getting correctly called out), and this did not happen.

He’s no longer about knowledge.

He’s nothing like he use to be.

He's not that good anymore but I'm not sure that's enough to warrant the criticism he gets.

One thing everyone should agree on is he absolutely loves Grant Delpit. He got excited talking about him against UGA and compared him to Eric Berry last week.

People pretending Danielson isn’t biased with his commentary are either retarded or trolling.

Most are retarded.

For an awful lot of sportswriters/sportscasters, Georgia is the Notre Dame of the SEC:
They’re always overrating them.

I like Gary.

I remember in 2007 when his lobbying for LSU on national TV helped get us into the BCSCG.

The fact that he hasn't really showed any LSU favortism since then doesn't bother me.

He lobbied hard for us in '07 and I for one am grateful for that.

ETA: He is also very good at what he does. Vern was holding him back for years, but I think the current CBS crew is as good as any fan can hope for.

This part just isn't true. Quite the opposite. I'm watching the replay, the 1st half was rough, but got substantially better. However the 1st half was really really rough
