I'm not saying O isn't taking the right approach or isn't throwing everything at these recruits, all I'm saying is he has no leg to stand on against Saban except for the university itself. These one on one battle will never be won other than the fact the kids want to play for LSU.. I'm glad to have the kids that want to be at LSU but let's be realistic we won't sniff a championship with what we have..

He has been gone. People just don't want to give up the illusion that he is going to LSU.

In June when people said he was come to LSU I said he was all Bama.

Two desperate positions of need are Running back and DL. So to actually have two 5 star kids in our own back yard not want to play at LSU should ring alarm bells. I know I haven't been following as long as the rest of you but from what I've seen the last 7 years this is something new.

When I heard 2 weeks ago that a recruit visited and didn't want anyone to know is an absolute joke. That's when you know you are second tier it should be worth telling everyone about. Please someobe tell me when have we ever had a committed kid afraid to visit another school incase LSU found out?

I can't believe I'm more angry the way this is all panning out then the rest of you! I admit I have no ties or anything to the school, you probably think why the frick do I care.. but honestly I only followed the program after watching the honey badger one game and i fell in love with the game. Don't get me wrong I know Miles had to go but that LSU football is a total different one than I see today. Go ahead and downvote me, say I'm melting, spin it however the frick you want but the fact I can see it happening more than most of you is fricked.

Just blows my mind how Louisiana kids would want to damage the flagship University of his home state, by playing Saban's games. Kinda like putting a knife in the back of your own family? That's what Robinson, Moses, Jones, Allen, Mathis, D Smith etc. have done.

You’re projecting your thoughts onto these kids. They have zero loyalty to LSU or this state. They are all about themselves. The sooner you realize this, the less you’ll get worked up.

Embarrassing for O? I guess every college coach in America should be embarrassed then.

The big question and good luck finding the answer on 247 and definitely not Sonny and Shea's board is who did he go to the Alabama game with? Who drove him?

These kids that Saban is pulling out of Louisiana don’t give a shite about championships. It’s about the $$. That’s all there is to it.

Hope Sophser had a good time in Bama today. I’d be willing to bet that Devonta Lee and Trey Palmer had a great time in Death Valley.

It doesn’t bode well that he skipped LSU’s second biggest game of the year (an hour away) to go watch bama beat down a terrible Missouri team. Just my .02

If the stuff about amite and bama handlers is true, this thing is over. Sounds like local guys (possibly HS coaches) are getting money to steer kids to bama. Disgusting

Many of these kids are from poor backgrounds and they just see college as a necessary stepping stone to NFL millions. They choose where to attend college based upon who they think is best equipped to get them to the NFL riches. For many, that's Bama.

less than 50% will make the NFL but if they stayed home and played for their home town team they would be local legends able to get employed more easily at home then in tuscaloosa

No brainer it sucks but we screwed up hiring Coach O

Coach O just ripped Georgia a new a-hole!! Screw off

Yeah. If we don't get Sopsher, it likely has nothing to do with who we hired. Orgeron has been on this guy since Miles hired him, and is proving that he's a pretty good head coach. I highly doubt any of the other candidates for the HC job would land him if Orgeron can't.
