I heard Hugh Freeze was see at the athletic dept last week! Don’t know if this is true but I’ve heard it from more than 1 person. It makes sense to me if the SEC office gave LSU the right to hire him. I know it wouldn’t be this year but maybe a chance next year. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I have heard that LSU was casting about for ideas to get more out of our offense, but Freeze seems like a less like candidate for SE to use than Amos Alonzo Stagg or Pop Warner.

Maybe Mike Price can be the QB coach.
Gary Barnett for D-coordinator.
Art Briles for special teams.
Nevin Shapiro for recruiting coordinator.
Steve Sarkesian can be the "water"boy.

Are there any other coaches with baggage and questionable character that LSU can overpay?

Maybe coach isn’t a dumb as people make him out to be. He wanted freeze, sec said no so he hires someone he trusts and who doesn’t want the job long term so when the sec says we can hire freeze coach o doesn’t have to worry about firing a guy. Just a theory

They probably looking at him for an analyst or consultant position to help us defeat Georgia and Sabama, then they'll promote him to OC at some point.

I hope like hell you wouldn't come on here and lie to us about something like this. We're very passionate about this, have only dreamed of having a great offense at LSU during our lifetimes.

I don't see it. That would mean Ed was wrong again with his OC hire. No way should Alleva and Ed make it through firing another OC in less than 2 years.
