I haven't missed a home conference game in Tiger Stadium in at least 20 years and I've been to all of the national championship games.

I have a real chance to go to Boston to cheer on the Astros (I got back from Cleveland a couple of hours ago. Never got to travel to Astros playoffs and may never happen again.

What would you do? Sell my 3 tickets in 412 on Saturday and go to Boston or stay local and go to BR?

If the Yankees win, there is no conflict

ETA: If Yankees, I can still go to LSU on Saturday and get back to Houston for Sunday game.

If you are flying to Fenway to cheer for the Stros, stay at home and go to the LSU game.

Go Sox

Nothing supersedes LSU football, easy decision. You'll be glad you saw a victory.

If it was me, I’d go to Boston. If Astro’s lose, still an awesome experience. If you stay in BR and LSU does what most people think they gonna do, you missed a great experience in Boston for the ALCS. If LSU wins, it’s a win win

ETA: I was fortunate enough to go to game 1 last year with the Bregman’s for the ALCS, my first MLB playoff experience and it was freaking Amazing!!!!

Go to Boston, watch the Stros/Sox. But before that game, go to the Baseball Tavern and watch LSU/UGA. That place is awesome during an LSU game.

I read the OP and I'm trying to find where the hard decision is.

Go to Boston.

You, sir, need to re-evaluate your entire philosophy...

I would go to Tiger Stadium and it's not even close.

Astros. UGA will be back to TS. You may never get to see another playoff game at Fenway

Easy decision. Go to Boston. I went to LA for games 1 and 2 of the World Series last year. It’s a memory I’ll never forget.

This is coming from a person who has been going to LSU games since the age of 5.

I’d go to Boston. As much as I love LSU, there wouldn’t be anything more I’d love to do than to go to Fenway and cheer on my Astros in the ALCS. That’s the trip of a lifetime right there. You still got Alabama coming to LSU so you still have an opportunity to see a big home game this year

Given the SEC schedule, you’ll probably have multiple opportunities to see the Astros play the Red Sox in the playoffs before Georgia comes back to Tiger Stadium. So there’s that.

This would not be a hard decision for me. LSU is in my DNA. I haven’t missed a home game since I started going as an 8 year old in 1985. No baseball game would make me break that streak.

Your priorities may be different from mine though.

And I forgot to say that I had a chance to go to game 7 of the world series for less than $1000 total trip and tickets last year and I chickened out. So since I'm in my late 50s, I'm considering going to Boston.

I've bee going to games even at the old Colt 45s stadium when Mom & Dad took me as a baby
