Caps completely shite the bed on that OT chance. Ovi passes it and they have a breakaway. Instead, they play terrible D coming back and TB wins it.

It's a shame ESPN isn't giving TB any love. They're on an all time historic season.
Hell, the NHL Power Rankings decided to compare all NHL teams to college basketball programs.
They compared TB to the Baylor Women's program. What the frick?

Correct. ESPN tuned out the NHL for obvious reasons.
Also Vegas oddsmakers focus the least amount of time handicapping NHL on a game by game basis. most their time is spent on football and basketball. There is money to be made with nhl and Mlb due to these lazy asses. Capitalize.

Can I ask why you hit upon Bolts and Leafs? Why those teams in particular?

Sure.
After paying much attention to the great rebuild the leafs have done plus all that scoring they are dangerous whilst trying to fix defensive issues and are on a upward trajectory.
Tampa has a lights out offense and both goalies playing well. I saw those two teams as the best two in the east.
Oddsmakers had it as either Tampa or Toronto coming out the east ORIGINALLY. I agree.
However the latest odds I have seen show it
Tampa
Caps
Boston
Toronto.
In that order. Should be a Wild playoffs.

Leafs are in deep end with Boston-Muzzin helps defense but I don’t know how they beat Boston without some serious performances from our dmen

That was the best game I've seen all year. I am praying for seven games like that in the Eastern Conference Finals. That was just terrific hockey until Orlov decided to let Hedman waltz to the front of the net and score in OT.
