Cherry picking or snow birding in bball

Seriously though, I don't try to snowbird so much as whenever a shot goes up, I'm often times on the outside or at the top of the key. And because I was always a small guard growing up, I always went to about half court when a shot goes up. On D, I can defend against snowbirding, and on O, I'm ahead of everybody else.

when one team always has a guy streaking downcourt, or already downcourt for the easy layup after a missed shot, turnover, etc.

Snow birding is acceptable once or twice during a game, but more than that, then I'm aiming for you knees next time you go up for a lay-up.

I don't snowbird, but that's because I'm usually the one being mismatched on defense so I'm stuck in the lane. Nothing wrong with it other than pissing off the other team. It's the snowbird-ed team's fault if they don't pick up on it after a while though.

I agree with the above person who said it is Ok as long as the snowbirder isn't a fat frick that doesn't hustle.
But, I hate snowbirding, but you do things to stop it from happening. If it happens more than three times during a game there is something wrong with the team trying to defend the snowbirding.

no because you create a disadvantage on D and the other team is allowed to do it as well

see i play D but i also get matched up on guys who who shoot 3s that i can't block
when i see they're going to get it in a position where i can't block it, i'll throw a hand in their face and haul arse down the court in 1 motion hoping that they miss, b/c i will be open
