Do the democrats have a sufficient pool of candidates to meet this new standard?

Who are the morally pure and perfect democrats incapable of ever being subject to a similar smear campaign? Or is the assumption that we will all simply fall back into the old rules if and when they take the reins again?

The Left has long excused Clinton's sexual activities while in office, in fact you were a Puritan prude to have an issue with it. Then when it became politically convenient Trump was suddenly unfit due to an affair prior to running for office. The Left spent all of 2008 calling John McCain a hateful racist bigot. When it became politically convenient, he became a man to be admired again. They don't need to have a memory. No one with a voice is going to hold them accountable. They don't need them because: a) the media will never go after their nominees for this sort of thing; and, b) the GOP would never manufacture accusers like the Dems do.
