Some people have short memories on broken promises:

"All I'll say is I'll try to get the best coordinator in football...It's going to be all that and more that you ask."

find me a school down 4 starters on their OL. Let's just start there.

Right, no other school in the nation or LSU team has ever had to endure these same problems.

See, this is the kind of shite I talked about all offseason when people that hate Coach O couldnt be rational about anything.

Remove Coach O from this situation, and these are legitimate growing pain problems in the eyes of any rational football fan.

Put Coach O into the situation, and none of this shite should be a problem.

Being down 4 OL alone would crush most offenses. Find me some teams that withstand that and still win games like we have.

Our o line is having problems but it’s the same BS offense we’ve had for the last 10 years.

If you fixate on Joe Burrow alone, it is night and day he is being asked to do way more than Danny Etling when the ball is in the air. It really is not all the same stuff.

I hope so too but some on here choose to ignore that there are major issues with this offense. Something will give eventually if improvements aren't made.

Soooooo I'll play along. What "improvements" are going to work with a makeshift o line? Unless you are a medical professional with a magic farie wand, then we pretty much did what we had to against lesser competition. When a d lineman moves to the o line, that may be a clue as to what the issue is. Screens, WR bubble screens, designed roll outs, max protect etc. A good bit of that was being done. The thing is...we figured we could run at La Tech and we did. What you see on the list that we ran will be standard going forward until we heal. As for screens, there is an art to that play that typically requires more experience / chemistry than we currently posses. So again...what do you suggest to do that we actually have the ability to accomplish? I mean, I would like a threesome with two OT 10's of the female persuasion. I mean, it's in my playbook, but I don't see it being called anytime soon.

You have a way of exaggerating the criticism directed towards Orgeron. You've been called out on it and couldn't provide evidence yet you still say this.

Biggest problem on this board is one person having a criticism and then the narrative becomes "negatigers think ______ about the team."

Its the worst fking offense I've seen in a while...even with Les here.

We have no identity. Joe has minimal protection...he's running for his life....the receivers can't catch half the time or get separation...we don't use the TEs or running backs out of the backfield enough in the passing game.

In other words....its a complete and total goat fuq....and its all in the lap of CSE and CEO.

You constantly accuse others of saying stupid shite and say stuff like this. Expressing concerns about performance after wins =/= not enjoying wins.

O sycophant shite sounds stupid

And calling people O haters and suggesting fans want the team to lose so they can be right sounds so intelligent

You think every team deals with stuff like this every year.

I dont have to exaggerate anything. You just said that.

You hate everything Coach O does so much that you can't even see regular "good/bad" football issues for what they are. You're excuses and constant deflecting & victimizing are laughable.

You want evidence of you hating on things? you can't be serious

No. No they didn’t. Everyone that hated the Orgeron hire all said we are 10-2 talent team, minimum., but with Coach O we better get used to being 8-4

You stopped before you finished what was said-- so I FIFY. Be real. Haters said we would likely be 1-2 after 3 games.

Ok so no criticism of the offense is valid as long as we have injuries on the OL. Can you or LE give me a idea when we can reasonably expect the OL to be fixed? Next year? 2020? 2035? And we have to have 5 starters all the same and healthy for how many games before we can expect improvement. 8 games? A full season? 2 seasons? 3? Maybe by the start of year 4 with the same OL we can expect the “growing” pains to be over?

BS! I don't care if Jimbo or Herman was the coach, being last in total offense in the SEC would still be totally unacceptable. Just another weak arse excuse.

This is the guy O had to have and it cost LSU lots of cash to fire one guy and get another. And what for? So after four games LSU could have one of the worst offenses in college football.

And no one is upset to see LSU 4-0. More BS.

O has been calling the game day shots at LSU for twenty six games. When does the offense and its results become his?

Based on his interim stint, I thought he would do ok vs lesser teams and struggle mightily against top 30 defenses. Apparently tweaking someone else’s offense is easier than making one up and installing it on the fly. The offense is bad against non P5 and even D2 schools.

So in other words, you were wrong

Let’s just wait until we don’t show up for a big game to make a big deal about it. Some of y’all let anticipation cripple you and can’t even enjoy a better than expected start.

If LSU finishes 14th in the league in offense, that is unacceptable.

I hope it does not come to that, but if we end the season dead last in total offense, changes have to be made.

No rational person can be okay with fielding the worst offense in the league. I’m remaining hopeful that it will continue to improve and get better, but make no mistake ... if we finish dead last in offense, heads need to roll on that side of the ball.

Has LSU ever finished LAST in the league in total offense???
