The first question that I had about this whole thing was/is: What did she expect to come out of this with writing this letter?
Did she expect that Feinstein to spread it to other colleagues and vote no?
You would think she would be prepared to go in front of the committee to answer questions.

If the woman wants an investigation, the local PD was the place to go.
If the woman wants to tell the country that Kavanaugh is a wolf in sheep's clothing then she should welcome the chance to tell the Senate committee as soon as possible.
