He’s shown brilliant flashes at times and he managed to stretch it out for the majority of last season. Corner is the hardest position to be consistently good in the NFL imo so it doesn’t surprise me that he’s running into some tough stretches just like Lattimore. Hopefully this will be motivation for him to return to his form last year.

Crawley has not played well thus far. Granted we've seen way worse CB play here over the years but plays like that hail Mary TD were inexcusable. If he just gets in the way the likelyhood he catches that ball drops by good bit.

Crawley giving up big plays started lsat year. Its been several games in a row. PJ lost the job because of immaturity and some dumb choices. Maybe a year on the bench has helped with immaturity, but lets see if those dumb choices keep happening.

Williams is a far better athlete than Crawley ever was.

Let's not forget that PJ is capable of being pretty darn good. He was having a phenomenal season in 2016 and then got wrecked on that hit that left his career in doubt. Let's see what PJ does with the opportunity.

Until we get a pass rush, all of this may be only window dressing

What I’ve seen over the last two games is our DBs really struggling to locate the football while it’s in the air. So if PJ can just get his head around while in coverage, it’s an upgrade.

Yeah but majority of the time, our corners never have safety help.
I still think crawley is a good corner, but where is the safety net. Each time hes gotten burned there just isnt any help over the top.

I still don't get why we got rid of Maulet.. he was serviceable imo with occasional flashes
