Has anyone lived or worked in Buda?

I’ve never heard of Buda, TX so I can’t add any substance to this thread. However, good luck

Buda is half an hour from downtown Austin. It can't be that bad.

Pronounced "Beuda"... a-k-a South Austin. Saying "Booda" = Goodbye to new job.

Seriously, it's a great location. Have fun.

One of the fastest growing counties in the nation for well over a decade and growth isn’t slowing down.

Downtown Main Street has been revitalized last few years. Lots of restaurants and bars now. Cool little place. I would recommend living in south Austin and commuting against traffic. Though housing is more affordable in buda

Rode through it last Spring on the way to San Antonio. It seemed far enough removed from Austin to be not quite as congested. Seemed like a nice place from I-35.

Great place. Might as well consider it as Austin. Salt Lick BBQ and Cabelas nearby

Not far from Austin

I think it’s pronounced B-you-da but I always call it Buddha

It’s basically just a suburb of Austin full of suburb things. Anything enjoyable will be 30 minutes away minimum.

Down South on Main has pretty good food, one of few places to find Boudin Balls around here. I go up there about once a month for work, locals seem to like the area, it has grown unbelievably in the last 10 to 15 years.
