Who's to say they did it before it was known they were looking at the records?
People in the govt knew about this shite long before Trump's victory. There are many stories about disgruntled FBI agents bc the org has gotten so corrupt.

so Trump is going to release the FBI records but those records might be false ? so in other words he is about to release a nothing burger and Carter is giving cover for this ? I mean Hannity always has the scoop.

Cause the official acts were used on record at some point, so they had to be retained. The false records would be sent to Trump et al to throw Congress off the trail and have it all blow over.
If this is remotely true, the rats will now be jumping ship and looking to flip at a rapid pace!

Carter is outstanding journalist. This one is tough to believe. Basically, she is saying once it comes out. FBI has good reason to spy on Trump campaign. She falls back to the 2 sets of records to keep conspiracy going.

I didn’t tell anyone for years but eventually told my best friend when we were in high school. Fifth grade was the last year we gave out Valentine cards.

I gotta admit this crossed my mind as well. What if the releases are a nothingburger? The "second set" would be floated to explain it away.
But think of the implications there. That means all the congressmen who have seen the docs and urged their release effectively duped Trump. Why? So he dangers national security and can be removed?
That's even harder to swallow than a real second set.
My question is, what is the second set of? FISA apps? 302s? Kinda tough to duplicate email and text. So those releases must be real.
Not sure what to think yet.
