Sara Carter is claiming from multiple sources the FBI was keeping two sets of books. One set of records were truthful and another set was for Trump, Congress and other DOJ officials that were false/doctored

This doesn't even make any sense. Why would they keep two sets? Why keep the incriminating evidence on yourself?

Wow. I did this in 5th grade.
On Valentine's Day, our teacher gave us a paper with blank comic strips on it with a cupid with talk bubbles. We were supposed to fill in the talk bubbles to make a comic strip and color it. We were supposed to bring it home... it wasn't to turn in.
I made one with the cupid saying the filthiest things and was passing it around the class and everyone was cracking up laughing.
I made another one just in case someone ratted me out, I could deny and show the teacher my clean comic strip.
I thought I was a genius. And it worked to perfection. Some other kid copied me with the filthy comic. He got caught, and ratted me out. The teacher made me pull out my comic strip, and mine was perfectly clean.

No this makes pretty good sense and lines up with what we have seen thus far. There was a clear shadow government running in the background that cooked the books regularly to hid things that those in power wanted hidden.
If it makes sense for money launderers and organized crime to run two sets of books, why would you think it would be any different for this criminal organization?

Why in the world would you conclude that?
If they are willing to submit forgeries to congress and the president, what makes you think they wouldn't do the same to any unfriendly agency?
