Another Bud’s bites the dust?

Sad, as a kid they were the best, as a young adult they were fantastic. Then somewhere sometime down the line I feel they changed their meat. Has not been the same since.

Because Bud's is not really good unless you're from NO and have grown up loving it.

Having Bud's the first time as an adult must be akin to stumbling upon a McDonald's as an adult never having had one of their burgers before. I just remember having Bud's the first (only) time and having to be diplomatic so as not to offend my friend who loves the place and brought me there.

To each his own, I guess.

Been a long time since I've been to a BB but the #4 (meat, grated cheddar, and hickory smoke sauce) was good stuff.

I've never had a problem with Bud's. I've been to the ones on Jefferson, Clearview, Vets, City park. Don't understand the hate. Can't beat the flavor of a charbroiled burger and it's cheap. Can't compare it to all the gourmet burger joints where you pay $15-20 for burger/fries/drink because it's like 1/2-1/3 the price.

They're obviously not the newest/cleanest looking places but you can't expect that from that type of place. You wouldn't walk into a diner like Camellia Grill or Mel's or Frostop and expect it to look like a 5-star restaurant.
