The irony of calling those they don’t agree with fascists...
With that being said, what’s a quality alternative to Gmail?

"Uhh" seems to be a liberal's favorite word.

An audience member asks if the executives see “anything positive from this election result.” The audience of Google employees, and the executives on stage, burst into laughter. “Boy, that’s a really tough one right now” says Brin.

You know, for some people that are all about inclusion and equality they sure seem hellbent on one single mindset and ideals.
Whatever happened to ‘never discuss politics in the workplace/with coworkers?’ These people are holding 1+ hour company meetings doing nothing BUT discussing politics.
I wonder how anyone with differing viewpoints or disagreements in philosophy in the room during this feels, if they haven’t already run them off or just not hired them in the first place.
And THEY’RE the ones fearful of closed-mindedness and dangerous rhetoric.

Brin compares Trump voters to supporters of fascism and communism, linking the former movement to “boredom,” which Brin previously linked to Trump voters. “It sort of sneaks up sometimes, really bad things” says Brin.
Are these people fricking retarded? The people who lived in Czarist Russia weren’t fricking bored, they were starving and had no rights, so once they lost WWI to Germany, Lenin comes in and had them killed. Hell it couldn’t be any worse could it?.........
Now let’s move onto the Nazis. Germany was fricked over by the Treaty of Versailles, and they had to give up everything. This led to a hyper inflation of literally one trillion percent to the US dollar. To top it off it was looking like the Communists were going to take over the government, with 129,000 open members, and they saw the October Revolution, which rightfully terrified them. So they turned to their arch-enemies the Nazis (130,000 open members at the time), who actually had decent economic policy but were racist and genocidal. But hey, it’s better than the Communists.
Then there’s China, which got assrapped by Japan for 35 years. I don’t think they were all that bored with Japanese coming to rape and kill their babies, and then have a nice aftermath of raping and killing your wife with the baby’s blood and brains still on the soldiers body. The Republic had failed them, so why not follow this National Communist revolutionary who fought for the people? It can’t be any worse than the Republic and the Japanese.....right?
Such a dumb fricking point.

Later, Walker says that Google should fight to ensure the populist movement – not just in the U.S. but around the world – is merely a “blip” and a “hiccup” in a historical arc that “bends toward progress.”
That's good to hear.

Why don’t you define both and explain why they are a problem.

Can't these billionaire morons Google the definition of Fascism and Communism and figure out that the side they are on is where the Fascist and Communist lie?
