Some LSU fans wanted him after Miles was canned. His QB threw 4 int's in their loss to Cal. Dude is a dead man walking IMO.

I'd let this season play out first. They can still salvage this season.

Fedora is a slime ball and an overrated coach that emphasizes offense and passing wayy too much to ever be successful at a top level.

He sucks. His best team ever lost to a 3-9 South Carolina team that couldn’t beat the citadel

Local sports radio said his buyout now is 14 million.

Meh, last year was really the only truly terrible season for him at UNC.

8-4
7-6
6-7
11-3
8-5
3-9

43-35, 27-21 in conference.

For perspective, Butch Davis had gotten them games forfeited and the coach before that was 27-45.

I know they're paying him a lot, but what are their realistic expectations?

Pretty sure their starting QB got suspended for the shoe violation so that was their backup that threw the picks.

Seems like he has the defense moving in the right direction though

I’d last about 30 seconds

Last year waa terrible because they lost a ton of talent to the NFL and an insane amount of injuries. They played a lot better the last few games but just had zero depth at that point of the season.

If UNC shits the bed Saturday at ECU, it’s gonns be a long season.

Odd that they would open the season with consecutive OOC road games.

I believe he is safe this year and prob. next year. I just don't see UNC paying a 10+ million buyout when football is not king around there. Unless they could get a big name coach or a proven coach, it wouldn't be worth it imo.

App State is the only school in North Carolina that really cares about football. If he makes a bowl next year he's safe.
