Kicks off tonight for all Origin Access/EA Access members, and preorders. Preload is up, 12.44GB on Origin.

As someone who should know how to do this but doesn’t... how do I go about getting a pre order open beta code?
Do I pre order the game then check my email?

I read somehwere it required 50GB, but maybe that was the final product. My internet package has a data cap which is a pain in the arse.

As a long time Battlefield fan, I’m just not into the setting. There was controversy about women in the game and her robot arm. I don’t care about that at all. I just want a modern game.

Have you played the beta? The PC version is out this month but the console versions are lagging until H1 2019.

Not yet, and I have the first one (got it for free) and haven't touched that either. Like I sain, on a whim. But I'll probably try the beta soon. Pre-ordering on steam gets you instant access to the beta.

I just played for a while. Disappointed.
It's literally a re-skin of BF1, only worse. I wasn't expecting much but this is surprising how bad it is. I've bought every BF since BC1. I won't be buying this.

I mean, it is a Beta. BF1 has had two years of updates now. Also this is about as great graphically we’ll get on this current console generation.

I'm really digging it so far. Feels and looks fantastic.
Had a 23-10 first game and we won with 99 tickets left.
More fun that I expected to have, and man that eye candy.
Reddit turned pretty quick that this is the best BF in years and feels like old BF

Had to quit playing after two rounds of something last night...The graphics were exactly what I expected since you can only build on BF1 and SW:BF2..The gameplay however was just off..It didn't feel right after playing all the previous BF games...I'm probably not going to cancel my preorder but this might be the one year I look forward to COD over BF

I would be very interested to see if you can simply obtain a key via Origin support like you could for Battlefront II without actualy pre-ordering anything.

I remember being excited for BF open betas. Man that BF3 beta just had me wanting so much more. Now...its just a hard pass. Shame.
