re: Reasons women lose respect for their husbands (by a woman)

This works if each side actually knows what the other speaks and they are honest about it.
It sucks when the partner tries to claim they speak 2-3 different love languages and aren’t happy when the wrong one is spoken at the wrong time, especially since a few of them are contradictory.

Then the dumb bitch needs to open her mouth and tell her man what she needs. Men are simple, straight forward creatures. We aint mind readers.

You could both be adults and just let it be known what you want from the other?
But I do know what book you’re talking about, my SO read it and what she said to me about her language was something that I already knew about her and what she wanted out of me just from taking the time to make her happy.

That's what your girlfriends are for.

5 Love Languages in your life
I’ve read that book and taken those tests. It’s silly stuff that sounds nice. Is not unlike the horoscope-like DISC tests that companies sometimes administer to employees.
“He’s not meeting my emotional needs” is a meaningless phrase. Emotional needs change. Your “love language” changes as your moods change and as situations change.
There are general principles that all successful couples adhere to. You don’t need to attempt to track someone’s ever-evolving love language
“My love language is receiving gifts!”
Yeah, well then you have a warped idea of what love is and your expectations of gifts is destructive because you’ll never truly appreciate them as they’re now obligatory.

I stopped reading after number 1. I guess I finished too early

Yeah you outed yourself as someone who never gets chicks

I don't want a woman who cares about what vehicle a man drives. Those women are way too vain for me. Who gives a crap what kind of car a guy has, as long as it works.

Meh, it more or less just adds words to the things a good husband should know or learn on their own.
My wife would rather I tend to the dogs and dishes than rub her back in the evening.
My wife would rather I compliment her dress than bring home flowers
That's not to say you never do the other things, just prioritize the things she really appreciates. And it goes both ways. Not just man -> wife.

I enjoy these stories where a wife who only fricks her husband once a month complains that he only lasts 3 minutes

but guys like LNCHBOX still think there's no reason for a man to last more than 3 minutes in bed. The message he pushes is destructive. His minivan message is also unhealthy.
I'd say you're better than this, but you're not. You've completely misrepresented what I said, but that's cool.
If you'll recall from that thread, your buddy goldennugget said he jackhammers girls for 45 minutes. Anyone that knows any actual women knows they do not want or enjoy that. And what I actually said was that if you needed longer than 3-7 minutes to satisfy a woman with at least one orgasm, then your technique needs work. But hey, your version of what I said is fun too.

It's not beginning again. No woman wants to be jackhammered for 45 minutes. I don't need a 30 page thread to know that
