I seriously will never understand how people don't root on SEC teams everytime they are playing someone else because it makes the whole division look stronger.

So you're rooting for Bama all the time except one weekend a year?

Frick the rest of the SEC

I hope he comes across the middle and 40 introduces himself and breaks him in half, tbh

I’ve watched the whole game so far. I don’t know how you can conclude they look good from this game.

No. You want Bama to win every time they're playing a team that LSU doesn't play. It's best for LSU's strength of schedule if they win those games. Strength of schedule is more important than ever now that there or 4 spots in the CFP instead of 2 in the BCS.

Northwestern is bad, but they aren't THAT bad. We need A&M to beat Clemson. I must be getting older because there are clearly too many kids on this freaking board that don't understand how things used to be and how they are now with regard to perceived strength of conference.

I'll have to disagree with ya on this, Lunatik. Don't ever root for Bama. When it comes to our SOS, Bama isn't a worry there. It's the Ole Miss', Arkansas', A&Ms, Miss Sts.

ETA: and probably more importantly our OOC games.

Then you may end up with a Baylor situation at the end of the year of LSU is in the CFP discussion.

If Ohio St hadn't gotten in over the conference champion from their conference that they lost to, I might agree with you. But, the committee has shown that they award big time wins. So, IMO we want every team to be as strong as possible on our schedule.

So I'm saying Bama is a big time win regardless of their record when we play them. Of course, that is, if they're better than like 4-4 (but we all know that would never happen).

ETA: In other words, Bama having 1 or 2 losses when we play them in Nov doesn't hurt our strength of schedule near as much as Ole Miss having 1 or 2 losses when we play them... Does that make sense?

A&M will not be a cake walk for Clemson

Y’all are crazy. Wouldn’t surprise me if Aggies won
