In a waiting room about 4:00 today, maybe 15 people in it. I stand up to head into the back, a lady probably in her late 60s, early 70s, says to me: "Excuse me. It's nice to see some men still dress like men. Thank you."

I'm wearing my every-day-standard long sleeve oxford tucked in, jeans, black lizard boots. The other middle-aged guys in there are either in long nylon shorts or cargo shorts, all have on flip-flops and t-shirts. I say "Yes, ma'am, thank you" and head to the back.

Yeah, cool story bro. No, I didn't PIIHB. But it illuminated for me how trashiness is a creeping plague, and how easy it is to stop it with just a little effort.

“The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers.“

So the other guys took the day off to sit ina waiting room and were dressed like it?

The horror!

Tell that old bag to suck a fat one. If all I’m doing is sitting in a waiting room, I’m probably gonna dress comfortably.

Ah, quick STD test to close out your hump day.

How'd the tests come back?

I work in an office where we don't work set hours or punch a clock. Some employees work 6-3'ish, I usually work 7-4

Well mr GQ, I had a pleasant breeze on my balls most of the day thanks to my shorts and flip flops. It’s August in south La. Almost done with the gold bond for the year!!

Thanks for staying true to your brethren.

Likewise, my normal daily casual attire costs around $800, not including watch or jewelry.

Affliction ain’t cheap...

If you look like a sleaze, the Dr will have in the back of his mind you're a sleaze. If you look squared away, they'll think you're squared away and treat you accordingly. They'll swear it doesn't make any difference, but they're only human.

I could care less of what some old bag has to say. It’s 90 freaking degrees with 90% humidity. Black boots? Enough said
