I think they just about nail it, predicting we win 26-23:

CFN game preview

From his keyboard to God's ears! I basically agree with his analysis. The one thing I find interesting is that he clearly regards LSU's offensive line as a team strength. Lots of posters here seem much less confident about that. That will be an interesting thing to watch for in the opener.

And that's why they play and we watch, just to see if all the talking heads are close to the truth.

I think it’s going to be a blowout either way. LSU is going to very good or very bad. Hoping we get a good surprise this year.

I think the final score will be much lower...

LSU 17

UM 13

With a pick 6 for LSU in the second half to win a very close and hard fought game!

You can bet the farm that Aranda will be burning the midnight oil cause if the defense finishes in the top 10...

and the offense fails and O is fired Aranda will be LSU Coach in waiting........

As a result I'm predicting a low scoring game barring turnovers by the offense deep in LSU territory...

maybe LSU 17- Miami 10

I don’t see how anyone can not think that this game won’t be a defensive struggle.

LSU= 17
Miami= 13

CFN loves LSU. Been reading their previews ever since I was a student. I almost always agree with them.

Nobody's putting up 23 on this defense

26-23 is a low scoring game? My gut prediction is a 17-14 type game.

Miami is coming off a season when it was 125th in the nation in third down conversions

Aren't there less than 130 teams? Thats horrible.

odd that he pumps up both Defenses, "bashes" both offenses and then has 49pts scored.

Pretty weak schedule obviously but didnt realize Miami is expected to go undefeated this year. Would love to knock them down a notch right from the get go. Cant wait for next week... First trip to Jerryworld!

The Canes have a much, much easier slate to deal with,

Just like last year, they never played a ranked team until week 9. Went 2-2 against ranked teams. OVERRATED. Tigers 27-14.
