I missed lunch today and decided to enjoy a piece of cornbread left over from last night in a bowl with cold milk. Very good!!!

How many of you do this?

My mom used to crumble it up in a big glass of buttermilk.

I do it. My coonass wife laughs at me though and says she's never heard of anyone eating it that way before. Glad to see I'm not alone.

Used to do this a lot growing up, not sure why I stopped. Thanks for the reminder.

I've never done or seen that in my entire life. I could see it being okay with a sweet cornbread, but doubt I'd like it with a really buttery cornbread.

Hot boudin, cold coush-coush...

Put some canned figs in that and thank me later.

Will be by directly to revoke your Southerner Card. I just assumed everyone knew about this. Cornbread and milk in a tall glass, maybe some vidalia onion or fresh tomatoes with s&p to go with.
