Burn more calories than you take in to lose weight. Burn off the majority of your daily calories to not gain weight.

30 minutes cardio in morning, hour walk at lunch, 115 minutes lifting in the evening.)
So you are doing some type of exercise or training 3.5 hours a day?

Actually it is sorta simple. Was 6'3 after shrinking an inch over the years but had gotten up to 245 of bad weight. @ 60. So I said hell with it, I love lunch and love eating @ home @ night with family so I just trained myself to grabbing the morning paper on the way to work and reading it while downing a couple cups of coffee with no creamer and drinking a glass of water. I missed the two over, grits, bacon and toast about 2 or 3 days then it was like it never existed. Made my daily work plan, read the fish wrapper and off to work with a day planner. I began losing about 2 pounds a week and was 200 in no time. I began working out military style, pushups, chins, etc 5 days a week for 15 minutes a day @ age 67. I'm 73, 6'2.5 182 with a 34 inch waist and a 46 inch chest. 120 over 72 BP and 53 resting heart rate. And outside the military I had hardly exercised at all in my long life. Short (15 min) military workouts, 2 meals a day. Nobody believes I'm in my 70's. Most folks think 50's.
Why can’t you say the word, “at.”

It really is as easy as this.

3 days a week I'm doing that much One off day on Sunday
the other 3 days I'm doing 30 minutes in the morning and a mile walk at lunch so at least 45 minutes.
I've already dropped over 100 pounds but its taken 2 1/2 years to do. This is the biggest problem with people that were as big as me if you lose a significant amount of weight your body lowers your metabolism to basically nothing in an attempt to put the fat back on. Its a struggle everyday. I literally ate a medium popcorn at the movies for a cheat meal one day and gained 6 pounds in one day.
I know water weight you say but it took 4 days at 1800 calories or less to take it back off. That is the part that gets frustrating.

DO you lift weights heavy? how much of your diet is protein percentage wise? Have you taken a 2 week diet break to reset leptin levels at any point in the process?
That is going to be your 3 problems right there.

and according to my fit bit I burn 4000 calories a day
Fitbit isn't accurate. In fact, all fitness watches aren't accurate. Look into getting a Polar. Polar is what the medical industry and professionals use. The most accurate is their chest strap.
You need to get a true RMR test done to determine how many calories you burn then go from there to add your exercise.
I did an RMR test and found out I only burn right at 2000 calories per day just living. From there I was able to get a good idea of my total burn including work outs and adjusted my caloric intake for the weight I wanted to lose.

Yet Ill be lucky to lose 2 pounds a week at most and sometimes even gain weight.
2 pounds per week isn't bad and is about average. Also, you aren't gaining if you are truly in a caloric deficit. Chances are it's water weight fluctuation.

we rotate 12 weeks light weight high reps (Joe Manganiello evolution workout extended to 12 weeks) with a 1-2 week break doing whatever you want then 8 weeks heavy lifting (Greyskull).
What you are saying though is proving my point. The whole it's simple calories in calories out is not the total truth of the matter.

Is two weeks needed? I take a week off here and there or even splurge on a weekend and it seems to jumpstart things back for me. How often should one do this?

jesus yes it is the whole equation. Eventually your metobolism get so low due to leptin levels being low that your actually TDEE gets too low. SO you reverse diet out of it.
don't get mad because you are ignorant on how to diet propoerly and try and prove a 100% fact wrong. You aren't a specialy betterfly. Study after study prove weekly calories and daily protein are waht matter more than anything else.
I mentioned lifting because cardio is like #5 or #6 things that matter in losing fat and that all you were mentioning.
Protein matters because of diet induced thermogensis.
go do yourself a favor and read the lean gains book that just came out and educate yourself. It will make reaching your goal much more enjoyable and will come much easier.

Some people are just genetically predisposed to being fat. I knew a girl in high school who was pretty large. Her mom, all her aunts, and all her sisters looked exactly like her.
She didn't eat any more than I did, and I was skinny as a rail.

This is a really dumb series of sentences.

We should do a show.....the shite fat people say.
Guess we have a bunch of special snowflakes with big bones running around that science just hasn't found yet. Seems like with the abundance of these people running around we would have discovered them already, especially with as abundant as they seem to be.

your contradicting yourself right here. You are telling me that a simple equation of in vs out matters then rebutting by saying i need to reverse all that for a week to two to reset my system.
Calling me ignorant and name calling doesn't make you right it makes you a a-hole. I know everything you are saying. I get blood work from an endocrinologist yearly. I see a nutritionist that i provide calorie and macro tracking to on a regular basis. I keep my protein levels at or above 150 daily. I go over my calorie intake at least once every two weeks to reset. I lift as my main source of exercise. I have read study after study and you know what it's still very difficult for me to lose weight. Putting a catch all this works for everyone solution to something doesn't work. Because there will be another study done 6 months from now that proves the last one wrong.

What you post is true and many people don’t struggle with weight. I could be leaner but I’m by no means fat. However there are things in my life which I do struggle with. I’d bet OP does as well. And I’m sure the answer to those struggles may not seem particularly vexing to one who doesn’t.
Try finding those things which we have in common.

No i am not. your body slowly lowers the amount of calories it burns you know the CO part of CICO. You have to lower your cals to match. Eventually they get so low its no substanable, so you reverse out. Not contradicting myself at all.
protein should be 50% minimum of calories due to DIT. 60% is ideal.
And 2 lbs a week is very good fat loss.
If you want faster, look into 72hour fasting combined with strict arse keto repeated on a 4 day cycle. its the fastest way to lose fat while holding onto muscle.

So 72 hours of fasting, then 4 days of keto, then 72 hours fast, etc?
How long do you do this?
Can you lift and excercise while in this cycle?

The "secret": Burn more calories than you take in to lose weight. Burn off the majority of your daily calories to not gain weight.
Except your body will adjust to account for what you’re doing. You can’t just treadmill your way thin, especially once you get over 30. I suppose there are some people with the genetics to do so, but I’ll bet most aren’t losing weight without changing your diet. You can’t scarf cheeseburgers and chocolate cake while snacking on skittles all day but think you’re going to run 10 miles a day and lose weight. Your body will revolt against you if you feed it shite and do high calorie burning exercises.
