Saban is a middle tier coach with the absolute best player each year at each position. Hell, most OT ballers could coach Bama and win 10+ games a year. A chimp could win the Sec with all 5 star athletes. The anonymous coach speaks the truth!
Saban excels at managing practice and teaching techniques and fundamentals. He may not be better than others at game and clock management. His success rate shows whether in game management is as important as preparation and fundamentals. Developing the mindset of doing things as near perfect as possible day after day and not accepting excuses is reflected in results.
It's like the difference between the Marines and everybody else.

“Anonymous sources are gutless.”
-Boom
But what sets Saban apart is his attention to small details.
My bro reminded me a story this week when he coached at LSU Coach Sue Gunter came to him for help in recruiting Semoine Augustus because Summit and UT were getting close to snagging her.
Saban told her he would help, but he wanted to get a copy of every piece of intel she had on Semoine. He wanted to know where she played little league tourneys, list of her friends, etc.
Saban also has a staff meeting with his coaches and told them he didn’t care what they were doing, if they saw her on campus, go speak to her.
It’s that kind of attention to detail that sets him apart because he does that for the players he recruits.
And he cheats. So what?

This is pretty much a a direct quote from a SEC Coordinator coach I met on a flight a few years back..........
”Saban cheats rampantly. Sorry to tell you, he did it at LSU. He even did it a Michigan State I was in the Bigten at that time. He is the very best at it and will never get caught. If we want a player and Saban wants the same player we will not get the player. He covers his tracks and has such an organization behind him at Alabama it will never stop until he retires. Our staff knew the combo of Saban and Alabama would be lethal for everyone else. Alabama has never been afraid to bend a rule and Saban is a master at setting up a “recruiting system”.... it will not be fun to complete against!”

what evidence does this "so-called" coach have to prove Saban cheats?

Their success is what we long for and if not for him leaving for he Dolphins, we would have had the success of their program the past 10 years.
There's no way to know.
Saban won in BR but not at the level he won in Ala.
Bama mastered cheating before Saban and has the SEC office in their back yard.
Saban there is the perfect storm.

The guy has built winners everywhere he’s been so to attribute all of his success to just being at Bama is idiotic.

I honestly have no idea how alabama even loses a game each season, but it is still college. Especially considering. The defensive line depth they get.
It’s not just that they have the #1 classes, it’s often not even a close second.. someone else just has to be 2nd because that’s the natural order but their rankings are often so far out in front.

Just good ennough to turn a profit is good enough for joe and f King

Truth is, Saban doesn't cheat.
It's the other 89% of the dumbasses in Alabama that cash entire paychecks to give to recruits while their trailer rusts away.
Broke Bama Bagmen.
Not Saban.

Lot of coaches could have the success saban has had IF they had #1 class every year

How many championships did Toledo, Michigan State, and Miami have under Saban.

Would Saban be that successful with the 20th ranked recruiting class every year?
I say no.
I say no.

Saban six titles speak for themselves. He’s the best coach in college football without question

I said it before. You're watching the same thing unfold at UGA. Kirby learned how, knows how and has the dirt on Saban. They'll never blow the whistle on each other. That's the benefits of them coaching in separate divisions.

Saban is a middle tier coach
A middle tier coach who has won NCs at two colleges, huh? Yes, he does have a deep and loaded roster now with the best players, but he went undefeated in the regular season in only his 2nd year at Bama and won it all going 14-0 in his 3rd year before he stockpiled all the talent he has now.

You honestly think the resources at Bama have nothing to do with it? If not, how was he so mediocre before Bama?
0-4 in bowls at Michigan State
One season with under three losses at LSU
Miami....

but until someone comes up with something tangible to back this notion of rampant cheating, a statement like this is slanderous.
pretty sure it's been done and relating to Auburn too, pretty hard to frick with those two schools, compliance wise, given the strict, ethical way that sorry assed state is run
(last part was sarcasm since this is the rant)
