I got a gift card to Hokus Pokus for my birthday, so I decided to get a bottle of Hendricks for my bar, since I had no gin.
Holy shite that stuff is amazing. I had a nice little martini on the rocks, splash of Martini & Rossi, and dash of olive brine.

Mother’s Milk right there. My coworker turned me on to it. Far and away my favorite spirit. Little tonic and a twist of lime for me.

I've never cared for tonic, too bitter.

Tall glass, ice, 2 shots of Hendricks, juice of 1/2 of a large me, fill with club soda - great light summer drink that packs a punch

Why would you ruin the Hendrick’s like that?

Swing back by HP and pick up some Dolin dry vermouth. Much better.

Can’t argue with Hendricks but for the money I will go with Citadelle.

You may be adding too much or the wrong kind of tonic. Gin was employed to make tonic palatable, not the other way around. The ratio should be 2:1 gin to tonic if using inferior brands & 1:1 gin to tonic if using fever-tree.

There a couple of bottle sizes, so that may account for the difference,

As for tonic, try Fever Tree naturally light. Costs a little bit more but is very good and mild. Kroger carries it, but I find the best price at World Market.

Yeah I’m a big fan of Hendricks as well, has a hint of cucumber to it.
Also like Bombay Sapphire for a dirty martini.
