Sorry if already discussed, but would they consider playing it in Dallas? With most of the stupid arse students not being there it should be ok.

The only reason you care about this song is because of that dumbass chant. If it were a random band song with no chant no one would give a shite if it stopped played.

If you really want to tell at opposing teams to commit beastiality that bad you are welcome to do it without a song backing you up. Sure you can convince others to do it with you. No one is stopping you

Majority of college bands are playing "Neck" because of LSU and its a shame that they don't play it anymore. But before LSU played "neck", Southern and Grambling was playing that years and years ago. I have no knowledge of where LSU got the idea of playing Neck from but I'm more than sure it was from one of these schools. So here is an alternative, instead of saying G replace it with an L

BS! Maybe you've never been in tiger stadium during a big game when it's played. Hell, even the players love it.

Feel free to judge me all you want and play the moral police but if the song is played again you may want to take your family to the concession stand to get a nice refreshing water while I chant to Neck and fill my Coke with more Bourbon. Or maybe, the Fun Police can petition TAF to build a quiet area where those Nancy’s that are offended can go when Neck is about to come on. Seems like a fair comprise.

So it's LSU's job to have the band play a song that everyone knows will result in students chanting STTDB?

In a post #metoo world, perhaps not a good look to be chanting "suck my duck, bitch".

Just be happy they haven't come for "Chinese Bandits". Yet...

I get it man, but my point is that “dick and bitch” being said 5 times a game isn’t that big of a deal. We should stand up for our traditions.

Just start chanting "STTDB" during Pregame. Maybe the first down cheer.

Pregame is an ancient tradition that needs spicing up. Bring it into the 21st Century.

Lulz at you acting like Neck is some time honored tradition.

The only tradition that STTDB honors is getting drunk and being asses. Which I support because it's what LSU fans do and I did it too when I was a student. Whether the school should aid and abet fans being drunken asses is another matter entirely.

As a new father I’ve changed my opinion on this. When the time comes, I’d like to bring my 8 year old to a game and not have to explain what “suck that tiger dick bitch” means when she asks me after hearing the chants

Yep, Neck is fine. The chant is trashy. All the other schools in the state play it and their student sections don’t chant thing like that.

this means you're a rational adult.

Be prepared to get destroyed by the teenagers on this board.

While I agree with this...don’t you think your child will hear the same or worse language in the stands on a regular basis just because of bad play calling? And I’m asking as a serious fan...I’m not being sarcastic. A lot of fans use some pretty salty language in intense games-it doesn’t just have to be the Neck debate. While the Neck chant says d!ck and b!/ch your child may hear much, much worse during the Alabama game. Again, I understand your way of thinking but I don’t know that it is any different that any other game that LSU has. Please know I’m not being sarcastic, I have just just been to many Tiger Stadium games like I’m sure you have.
I hope that you and your child have a great 1st experience at TS!
