I think he’s referring to the scouting reports that the analysts compile. Orgeron said it was embarrassing what LSU versus what Bama was able to do with so many more analysts. That’s when Alleva allowed O to hire more analysts.

Was a good interview. Am I the only one that used to hate Kiffin at USC, Oakland, Bama and UT, but don't really mind him now that he's at FAU? I kinda want him back in the SEC now.
I was afraid he and O would've gotten us on probation, but with him as OC and Aranda DC would have been awesome x's and o's. Coach O did have the right idea there.

Maybe probation would be better than 7-5. Hmmm...are we turning into Ole miss?
You can tell Kiffin's aiming for a big job. Every time I hear him interviewed he takes shots at the big schools. This time he said florida state should win the most games with their hundred 5 star players. brought up the controversies at OSU and Maryland. I think him doing the LSU radio interviews is even a way to keep his name out there in case something opens up here.

Great interview but it struck me as odd. Why is he doing interviews with a Baton Rouge station during camp? Could it be that he is trying to clean his image up for the LSU fan base. Keep his name out there in case LSU opens up.

I think many assumed it was Kiffin when Orgeron said his "friend at our enemy a couple of states over" gave him the scouting report...

Exactly. Nobody expects him to be at FAU more than 1 more season. He's certainly keeping his name out there and waiting for a big job to open up. It'll likely happen after this year if he can keep his nose clean.
I don't know that he's friends with the hosts like previous poster mentioned. He's been on multiple times. They call him because he's a great interview, is friends with coach O, and can give us the scoop on Alabama/saban. He takes these interviews as a way to keep his name out there. Probably not just Baton Rouge but all over the country.

The timing isn't going to work out for Kiffin this go around. He'll have moved on to a bigger job before the LSU job is open.

No the right idea was to have kiffin who has actually had previous success as HC and A coordinator as head coach and o keep doing what he was doing
