Per Delly this morning on OTB: Taylor and his family both lied to LSU staff

Delly said he confirmed with multiple people that both Taylor and his family lied to the staff about situation.
Wow, not a good look for the family. Sounds like a bad family environment if it’s true that they were complicit in the cover-up.

Prolly Taylor lied to his family and they believed him...at least wanted to.

The only thing missing is the official word that this kid is done at LSU.
Don’t ever look for him to come back. He deserves that treatment

The family plan to lie to the staff is perfectly understandable as it was TOTALLY unlikely that anyone would EVER find out...
NOT!!
NOT!!

Yea seems to be taking a while.
I haven’t followed the entire story. He’s only been charged, right?
Could he be suspended until the outcome? Charges could be dropped or reduced, found not guilty, etc.
Or has there been more info I missed confirming his involvement and chances of being convicted?

There is no way he comes back and he shouldn't be able to.

That's very messed up.
Just do our thing and move on. That's all you can do.

He can probably hit the juco ranks, sign with Bama or UGA , have all charges dropped, and suit up for the Crimson Tide next year with no suspension.

I just let these things play out before rushing to judgment, but it sure doesn't look good.
I'm also not going to judge his parents without knowing facts.

FIFY, since we're talking about Bama.

He just said family, so not sure who exactly it was. I would assume his parents knew that he was arrested.

So what other top LB target are we going to go after for this class, cause Taylor may have suited up for the Tigers for the last time.

Yea, that’s usually the way I approach legal situations. I try to hold on to the innocent until proven guilty philosophy.
They both lied, which doesn’t say much for their character or add to the presumption of innocence.
If you’re innocent you probably tell the program upfront.
I would just like to know if there was any chance of giving the kid his chance at due process before kicking him out the program or has there been more information to point towards his guilt.

How would he get bailed out if his parents didnt know? They probably bailed him out. His bond was 30 grand wasn't it?

33k if I remember correctly. That’s a hell of a bond.

I just read 44,550. So 10% of that had to come from someone.

We have two FR linebackers in Baskerville and Clark. I think Clark is a true MLB but Baskerville looks like he might have the size if needed. We also have two MLB types committed.
