Stacey Abrams, rising star Democrat running for Governor of Georgia, says she’s $200,000 in debt and part of that debt comes in the form of back taxes including about $53,000 to the IRS. Abrams says she would have loved to have paid them, but “other priorities interfered.”

Your modern Democrat party, ladies and gentlemen!

Basically she decided she had submitted her “fair share” previously and this money was hers.

She’s up against this guy:

I’m all about the 2A, but I hate those kinds of ads.

I am going to write this shite on my tax forms in big block letters, sign them and mail them to the IRS this year...

That’s interesting. Time did a glowing piece on her but this never came up. They must have missed it

Oh for fricks sake

quote:

She isn’t alone. Millions of Americans are in debt. In fact, the total household debt in America is $13.2 trillion, according to the New York Fed, and balances are rising on most kinds of debt; credit cards were the only debt to see balances decline in the first quarter of 2018.

Higher profile politicians have struggled with debt, including former presidential hopeful Marco Rubio.

Good lord imagine what she’d do with the state’s credit card.

She's from the Charlie Rangel school of "taxes for thee, but not for me."

Turbo tax is hard. Just ask the former Secretary of the Treasury Tim Geithner.

Hopefully the voters will find other things to do vs. voting for her

I don't like her but Kemp is also awful. It's a tough call.

I have a better chance of banging Ivanka than her becoming governor of Georgia.

One of her promises is sand blasting Stone Mountain.

The math in the title and in the story doesn’t jive.

227,000. Credit card debt, student loans, taxes
178,500. Real estate
4,434. Vehicle

409,934 debt

And I love how Yahoo is trying to compare her situation to ordinary Americans. How she just magically found herself in this situation. Oh yea. And Rubio n shite.

Yep she is just a hard working soul trying to get by according to yahoo. Only.. there is this missing from the article:

Per the AJC

quote:

She’s also come under scrutiny for drawing a $177,000 salary in 2014 for her role as a part-time chief executive for the voter-registration project she started

Just a hard, tough, meager, life for a poor soul. Just trying to provide for the family.

Can’t manage her own finances, but thinks she is good enough to manage Georgia’s economy.

She will wreck Georgia if she wins and it looks like that isn't outside the realm of possibility.

She can't be elected. We don't know who she may owe money too, have her tax returns been scrutinized? What about her butthole, we may have to examine that, to make sure she's clean.

Wait, Democrat, none of that matters........
