The Yankees announce that Aaron Judge has sustained a chip fracture of the right wrist. It's the ulnar styloid bone. NO surgery has been recommended. It'll be about three weeks before he can swing a bat in a game situation.

Could have been worse but that might lock up the AL East for the Red Sox.

Bad news.

The race will still be great.

I’m guessimg that’s from when Junis hit him? It’s weird because his next at bat was his first hit against the royals ever.

Unless something happened after I turned off the game

He got lucky. Freddie Freeman missed 44 games when he took a fastball to the wrist last year.

And they traded two players who could have been his replacement

I highly doubt he is playing in a Yankee uniform before Labor Day. Wrist injury of any kind is trouble for a power hitter like that. He will probably spend two weeks on a rehab assignment taking days off here and there for the soreness. After the 3-4 week healing process.
