I love Bregs, but if he goes on to have a 15 year MLB career are you people going to be starting threads on tRant in 2030 every time he hits a HR?

And he's reached base in 56 of their last 57 games. The one game he didnt, he got a homerun robbed from him against the Royals. Dude is on an absolute tear this season.

I was at the game... it was like an Astros home game in Denver. Lots of fun.

Being serious here and this is no knock on Bregs. What's the chances he gets popped for PED's? I know he always had pop in his bat but damn, 21 dingers so far

Are we going to get a Bregman update every time he gets a hit?

Him having power is not a surprise. He always had a high slugging percentage. The Astros just taught him launch angles and those doubles turned to home runs. You don’t have to be a big guy to hit a lot of home runs if you know how to put the bat on the ball in the right place. Especially at the major league level when almost everyone is throwing 95 plus. The pitchers do half the work for the hitters.

They’ve played 103 games. It’s not like he’s on pace to break the record.

I think part of it is probably just continuing to mature physically. He had a good slugging % at LSU just not many HRs. He started hitting them shortly after starting in the minors so it's probably natural.

His HR pace has increased from one for every 37.43 ABs in college to 1 every 23.83 ABs in MLB which is a pretty decent increase. However his extra base hits only increased from 1/9.03ABs to 1/8.05ABs so it looks like it's just more of his doubles and triples are turning into HRs.

Yeah man lots of orange and some tiger purple and gold. It was a good time but the delayed start caused me to leave earlier than I wanted.
