I really wasn’t all that surprised when Bourdain killed himself unfortunately. It made sense to me knowing many of his demons why he did it.

There were a shite ton of pictures of Kurt Cobain with a gun in his mouth too. With that said, easier to see it after they actually are gone than before.

I watched this one a couple of weeks ago and when he said that, my wife and I turned to each other and just sighed.

I'm tired of hearing about him. I have a hard time feeling empathy/sympathy for a guy like this who had a great life, people who loved him, celebrity status, and probably all the support in the world (money, friends). He did a shitty, selfish thing to those who cared about him. At this point, I don't care about his "demons" or what led him to commit suicide. He got a second chance at life after his drug addiction, was, by all accounts, successful and yet he still committed suicide.
I should feel sorry for him when their are people with less who are dealing with more and not getting through it?
He's earned POS status and is undeserving of any more attention.

People commit suicide everyday and those people likely don’t have the support network or means of support this guy did. I’m sympathetic to their plight. Bourdain was just a selfish a-hole. Mentally fricked up, but a selfish a-hole. If you weren’t riding this guys dick, you’d look at with more objectivity.
But you’re too arrogant to look at anything objectively because you think you have all the answers to everything.

Some do, some don’t. So what? A lot of people get further depressed when they do have this because they know they shouldn’t be depressed with the support that they get. They get further depressed because they feel like a person in their position should be happy.

Funny since that’s how you’re acting while speaking on a subject you clearly know little about. I have experience with severe depression so I’m not just talking out of my arse like you are.
Like I said, consider yourself lucky that you are ignorant. I wouldn’t wish upon anyone the depression to the point of suicidal thoughts or attempts.
