Lisa Lisa answered questions Petey refused to answer.

Lisa Page is impressing GOP lawmakers today. Several members have said she had been cooperative and provided them new information beyond Strzok’s testimony.
Mark Meadows even went so far as to say that Page was “falsely accused” of not being cooperative.

Rep. Gaetz says the questions Lisa Page answered — but Strzok would not — heighten his concern about whether the FBI was driving toward a “desired outcome” in its Russia probe.
He said FBI counsel was still there and at times intervened to prevent her from answering.

Accurate.
Does she not have the attorneys in the FBI representing her as well? You would think she would and that she would be getting the same advice.

She did have FBI attorneys present, they blocked her from answering some questions.

This is interesting to me. Why would FBI attorneys be counciling her on what not to say? Isn’t their loyalty to the FBI? And why are they needing the hide things from a govt oversight committee? I get that it isn’t true but shouldn’t they at least pretend to all be on the same team?

Strzok at least had an excuse for the FBI attorneys. He is still technically an employee. Page resigned months ago, so why does she have FBI lawyers?

Yes, but unlike Strzok, she is no longer an FBI employee. The FBI attorney was there, but she is under no obligation whatsoever to listen to him.

A convenient way for Republicans to discredit Strzok without fear of being challenged because there is no transcript. Just like they did after Strzok's closed testimony.
