A Day in the Life shows the contrast and collaboration of Lennon and McCartney.

She Said, She Said

Or

I Am The Walrus

Difficult question actually as there are so many great ones. I chose the two that still sound fresh to me all these years later.

In my life, a day in the life and guitar weeps are the top 3 IMO

I always loved Across the Universe and thinks it’s very underrated

Too many great songs to dub one "The Greatest."

Very overplayed song, but "All You Need is Love" comes to mind. I love that it only took one take record: All You Need is Love

it's now too hard to separate the songs from the emotions attached to them and the time of my life when they were popular.

"If I Fell", "I'd Be Happy Just To Dance With You", "I Should Have Known Better" and "Tell Me Why" all from Hard Day's Night soundtrack.

Just so tuneful, perfect, full of longing, and innocence. Really a product of a more uncomplicated approach to life, where we used music as relief from the turmoil of the early/ mid 1960s.

The one that sold the most? IDK how else to measure a song when we consider how subjective music is
