Anybody going to get a replica ring tonight? Those clowns listing theirs on ebay for $100 have to be pissed that the Astros have given away 80,000 more of them.

The Marlins GM hangs up before Luhnow can even finish that sentence.

Realmuto will be something similar to what they got for Yelich

They aren’t trading for Realmuto and keeping all three of Tucker Whitley and Alvarez. If they’re trying to do it without Tucker and Whitley then Alvarez Nova Perez and Alcala? I dunno if the Marlins do that. Maybe they want Stassi instead of Nova or one of the pitchers.

I don’t think a deal for Realmuto is that realistic

Any news on why Verlander was also absent for post game media time?

Heard this morning on the radio that Verlander was super pissed and just up and left, no shower, no nothing.

Giles wont be around long after yelling at Hinch to frick off. Giles is psycho.

Cionel recalled.

There's your confirmation Hinch and Luhnow saw the "frick you man"

He's struggled for sure. But established major leaguers don't generally get optioned to the minors. This is a punishment.

It is, because to take this action, tells me they are completely done with him.

I don’t think he’ll ever recover from this (As an Astro)

ETA: Good teams don’t send guys down that can help the team, especially not established veterans.

Honestly, I hope some time away from the pressures of the club do him some good. If he can work on some things to get right. Work on finding his slider again. We benefit if Giles figures his shite out and performs as he did last year.

That seems like a long shot though. Giles doesn't strike me as the type to put it all behind him and use this as an opportunity to get better and bounce back. I think he'll take it as a personal insult and stew on it and won't work on anything.

My thoughts exactly. He already lost the closer role, he’s proved many times he can’t handle a non-closer role. That person doesn’t fit on a team that has WS aspirations
