In addition to moonlighting with Dandy Don's he is now writing for "And the Valley Shook" as a special contributor.

Taking a look at what’s out there for LSU’s remaining spots in the Class of 2019.

Updating LSU’s Recruiting Board Following Donte Starks’ Commitment

Here’s a look at the top remaining positional needs:

Running Back
Wide Receiver
Offensive Tackle
Defensive Line
Cornerback

Here are the top Louisiana targets left on the board:

Gauging the current temperature in the room, LSU is in the pole position with the trio of blue-chip prospects from Tangipahoa Parish, as well as Parker — if he’s a take. Then, expect LSU to land one of Emery or Cain in December,

Edwards camped in Baton Rouge in June and drew the attention of defensive coordinator Dave Aranda, who worked out the three-star prospect. In talking to sources in the building, it seems likely that eventually LSU and Edwards will go in different ways.

Second time I've heard this recently. That's interesting have too few spots.

Wonder if getting C. Harris would have any effect on keeping McCallum

We definitely do NOT need two WR’s . We could take two and I’d be cool with that if the kid is a baller, but we don’t need two after last year’s haul. I’d rather load up on the interior.

Regardless of whether you agree with that or not, we can probably all agree that that list is a testament to how well we have filled needs in 2018 , through transfers and now 2019. You have to applaud the staff for taking care of business.

He seems like a highly competent individual. He needs to get the hell out of recruiting journalism and find a field where he can put his skills to work.
