How tough a task is the second part of Infinity War going to be?

Think about all the things it will have to pull off:
-First, just the job alone of following the act of the first part of IW. The movie's been one of the most critically and publically acclaimed movies in the history of superhero films.
-Then factor in that this has to be THE pivotal plot point of the MCU to this date and maybe overall. Fiege has pretty clearly eluded that this will be the end of this era of the Avengers (Iron Man, Cap, Thor, Hulk, etc.) and the beginning of a new chapter. They have to have those orginal characters have a final sendoff that's big and meaningful, but also a beginning to the new characters that's as big and meaningful as the original Avengers movie was.
-Thanos also has to have a satisfying wrap-up to his arc, which has been building for 6 years.
They have to bring back those wiped out in tSnap and take down Thanos in a way that gives sufficient closure to both Thanos and the original Avengers, but gives a compelling beginning to the new guard.
Plus, if it bombs (which I don't expect it too), it will diminish the outstanding feat that was IW.
It might be the tallest order the MCU has taken on, which is saying something, and I have no idea how they're going to do it.
I do trust the studio and the Russo brothers, though, and I'm damn sure excited to see what they do.
Anyone else feel this way?

Unlike Star Wars and TLJ, they probably already had a plan for all of this before IW started productiion.

I actually think it will be the easiest Marvel movie to make to date.
The first one was the challenge and people bought into it. The second part of the story is obvious if you paid attention to what happened to Thanos when he snapped his finger.
All they need to do is finish the story. Tell it. Call it a day.

I wonder if Thanos gets some kind of redemption in the end? He doesn't do the things he does out of pure evil like most villians. Does Hulk play a pivotal part?

I imagine ant man and definitely captain marvel will help them set it up

It’s a good take. It’s going to make 200 million in its first week alone.
The movie is already written and most here already know how it will be resolved (big picture). It’s already been filmed and is being edited. What’s left to do that will make it the toughest order in Marvel History?
Mail out the movie?
Are you retarded?

Once Kathleen Kennedy swaps franchises with Kevin Feige, we'll know more about IW2.
Expect Thanos to toss the Infinity Gauntlet over his shoulder, Black Widow to inexplicably obtain flying powers, and Hawkeye to milk the Hulk.

quote:No. What people know is in the OP. The problem will be "how". No one knows the how yet.

I believe IW part 2 is already in post-production.

It will be hard to follow up for sure. I hope it’s better than Dark Knight Rises. Maybe that’s the brilliance of TLJ, set the bar really low so the last movie doesn’t ruin it.

After tSnap, there is a lot more screen time for characters so that will make things much more easy

Can’t believe that made it into the final cut. And I like TDKR.

I have confidence that they will get it right but it wont be easy. The first IW did everything on such a grand scale.

Darkseid comes out of nowhere, and kills thanos with sub zeros mk 1 fatality.
You realise marvel and dc have merged.

She should have worn the seat belt.
