The reason why most LSU fans leave at half

Alcohol....
I'm watching a yankees game now and they're up 9-0 and everyone is still there. They aren't plastered like LSU fans before the game and don't need to leave to continue their buzz.

Tiger Stadium is freaking hot which is why we prefer night games.
Take in the fact that concessions suck, TVS are outdated and the lines are outrageous, the game experience is better from your tailgate or your tv.
TS has to improve their experience for the fans in order to keep them there all four quarters minus big games like vs Bama, Auburn etc (those games stay packed regardless).

I live in NY. I can catch the train from outside Yankee Stadium and be home in 25 minutes. It takes me that long just to get to my car after an LSU game.

There is a long list of why people leave TS early.

So why do you leave early for night games?

Who forces you to eat them? You can't go a couple of hours without stuffing your face?

TVS are outdated
YOU go to a live sports event to watch television?

lines are outrageous
See my comment about forcing you.

Yes so why go into the stadium at all. The thread is about why LSU fans leave at the half.

I'm not going to ask what cave you live in if you missed Saban chewing on Bama fans for leaving early.

They put some purple plaster on the bathroom floors and said they're renovated.
Heat is the biggest problem and all they can do is hate CBS.
Alcohol sales will put more idiots in the hospital and cause more vomit.

Because they can buy alcohol there

You can't really bring Saban into the discussion. When a man wins a national championship at least every three years he can pretty much do and say what ever he wants

Even a hotly contested, crucial game like Auburn last year was hard to endure for four quarters. The heat was unbearable (particularly in the east half of the stadium), the concession lines were untenable, the concession foods were not good, the piped in music was cacophony, the toilets stank, and many fans were rude (I don't know how many times someone would bellow out "Are you kidding me" after a less than satisfactory play by the hometeam).
Football in Tiger Stadium was a LOT better in the mid-80s, IMHO.

LOL...No.

Bs. If anyone cares that much about being drunk they would just bring something into the game with them

The fan base is totally different now than it was back in the 60's 70's and 80's....some of its due to tv and day games, the sec network having every game on and the internet.
Also today's fan base is way to much of the wine and cheese crowd...some of the true tiger fans of the past have died off..
Then other people just have no desire to fight the traffic the crowds and terrible overpriced concessions along with long bathroom lines....its just easier to stay home fire up the grill with a cold one and watch it on that big flat screen tv...than fight all of the above
Finally ticket prices and donations have run some people away...and the pay to park to tailgate has also done the same

Try to follow the tread. He blasted Alabama fans for leaving early.

Precisely, but damn I'm glad I didn't leave early.

I don’t think I’ve “gotten up” from any sporting events I’ve attended in a very long time, much less an LSU football game.
Why people miss the game to go get a chili cheese dog when you have 358 other days in the year to eat chili cheese dogs is beyond me.
I don’t want to miss a second of the action, much less a good twenty minutes.

Traffic + "life is busy" = early game leaving.
everyone is in a rush....add....more crap to do and less time to do it. Sundays are jammed packed. Traffic sucks....people cannot be 1 am getting home

They all weren't there yesterday when the Yankees got their arse kicked.

You can't go a couple of hours without stuffing your face?
